Denise is the Founder and Director of Art of Dance, where she has spent over a decade between the GTA and Windsor building a welcoming community rooted in excellence, connection, and a genuine love for dance.

Born in Trinidad & Tobago with Venezuelan heritage, Denise was immersed in Caribbean and Latin culture from an early age. Those influences continue to shape her unique teaching style and artistic vision, blending authenticity, musicality, and technical excellence.

With more than 25 years of experience in the Latin dance industry, Denise is professionally trained in Latin Ballroom and has dedicated her career to helping students of all levels discover confidence through movement. She teaches Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Argentine Tango, and a wide range of Latin Ballroom styles including Rumba, Samba, Jive, and more.

Known for her emphasis on strong fundamentals, quality technique, and musical interpretation, Denise believes that great dancing is about far more than memorizing steps. Her classes encourage students to develop body awareness, understand the music, and build meaningful connections—with themselves, their partners, and the dance.

For Denise, dance is an expression of emotion. Every rhythm tells a story, every movement carries intention, and every song offers an opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself. When technique and feeling come together, dance becomes a powerful form of self-expression—one that inspires confidence, freedom, and joy both on and off the dance floor.
